Is your wood flooring already worn out ? is it now looking old and pale? It may be time for the finish of your hardwood floor and make it look new again. You can perform this simple procedure. Go to the place of your house which is used most often, perhaps your living room . Get a tablespoon of water and pour it on the ground. If the water forms beads and can easily be erased , it is not necessary to finish it yet. Your soil is still in good condition. If the water you just poured slowly seeps into the ground and creates a visible location, it may already need refinishing touches . After a few hours sanding repeat again , this time along the grain to a finer . Make twice as high using the number of grain, the final sanding . Afterwards, vacuum the floor once more and wipe off the sanddust .

Once the soil is free of dust , it is now time to apply the layer. You’ll need a roll to do so. Before using the roller, make sure it is clean first use a brush to remove hard dirt and loose hairs that may enter the finish line. The urethane coating can now be applied to the soil by bands of grain. Once all strips are done, go back to the starter and make sure there are no marks or urethane rollers build .

I first coat dry for a while. When the layer is dry , the next step is to sand the whole floor using an orbital sander. Vacuum and sweep the floor after removing the dust. Finally , the second coating can now be applied using the same procedure as the first . When you do the second coat, make sure that the sun doesn t shine ‘ through the window of a part of the floor to avoid uneven marks. Refinishing your hardwood floor is relatively easy as long as you have the right equipment . The rent can be a bit expensive if not more expensive than replacing the entire floor . You can even save more than you do hire someone to do it for you. So ‘t be proud to present your work to your friends and tell them you did it yourself ?
